yes. Nothing fits my criteria of being LCP sized with a good trigger, no safety, useable sights, and reliability. G42 is too big, LCP/Bodyguard/Pico + a bunch of others have bad triggers, p238 has a safety, and p380 still has tons of QC/reliability issues.

Why can't they make these damn things with decent triggers? 8-9lb? No thanks.

In the real world, there's very little difference between the two. Use whatever you can shoot fastest/accurately with that fits with your wardrobe/mode of carry.

How on earth do you buy a brand new gun then only shoot TEN rounds through it? Especially something as easy to find as 9mm...

I'd go BCM KMR with 11.5" barrel If you want something functional with pretty much guaranteed quality, but a preassembled upper from BCM or DD. If you just want a project gun, build it yourself. You won't save much, if any, money by building it yourself with parts of similar quality.

A 2 shot gun as a primary? That's horrible advice when there's 6+1 .380s with smaller footprints. Hell, I'd rather carry a beretta bobcat.

I'd go Glock 19. Simplicity is nice.
