I don't know how much of a difference there is between the Interbonds and the Nossler accubonds, but I have had nothing but great success with the accubonds mostly on deer though. I am using the 160gn and shot deer from 30 yards to over 250 and had full penetration even through both shoulders. I...
I would say cottonmouth by its dull coloring. A copperheads colors are usually more apparent. Its definitely not a rattlesnake. There tails are not that sleek at he end. Cut the end of the tail off from the last curve and that is what a rattlers tail would look like even if all the buttens were...
My great uncle has a C96 with the wooden holster/stock. The metal piece that attachés the stock and grip together is lost. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? Thanks.
I would have to say flintlock, because thats what I have. In PA during the season after christmas you can only use a flintlock. I got an RMC which I really like. I think they are the best flintlock that I have seen short of being custom. Cleaning is no hassel. Remove the wedge srew(instead of a...
"Will the collet chew up really soft jackets though?"
I have used them on different plated and jacketed bullets and when set up properly they dint even leave a mark that I can see.
+ 1 on, "I highly recommend the Collet Puller from RCBS. I use it for jacketed bullets and a Kinetic puller for lead loads."
It actually made pulling bullets fun compared to the hammer puller.
Some say hornadys is a little better system.
I have a glock 32 and want to get a 40 barrel for it. I was wondering if I would be better off getting a glock barrel or an after market like storm lake? I reload and was concern about the case bulging with factory barrels issue.
I have the same problem eith my TC Encore I have tried just about eveything. Right now this is where I am at with mine, http://www.bellmtcs.com/store/index.php?cid=172 I havent completed this step yet so I cant tell you if it is a fix, but as soon as I do I can update. Hope this helps.
Glock 32. No problems other then when I started loading for it I worked a load up on a single stage press and shortly after purchased a progressive. I checked ever thing over and over but never dropped one in the pipe to make sure it fit. Well after loading up 1000 rounds I went to the range and...
Last fall I took my, 9 year old at the time, nephew to the rage to shoot his 22. Well being a kid he was looking at all the brass laying around and when we went to the targets he found some spent bullets. Well with out me seeing it he must have put some of the empty brass (no bullets) in his...
I saw once on I think it was Mail Call that the stars facing forward was a military pride thing where the fag is always moving forward and if it was the other way (on the right shoulder) it would look like one is retreating.
The way I read about the difference between the XTP and XTP magnums is not to do so much with the expansion issue, they would be fine for say hunting with a 45 long colt, but more of how they hold up with the higher velocities of the 454 and 460.
My wife loads but most of the time we load together and says she enjoys it. The best part is she likes doing the stuff that I dont find so fun, like pulling bullets and trimming cases.
