Got one in very good condition and thinking about selling or trading. Have an extra magazine and scope mounts as well. These are somewhat rare and I'm not sure what their value is. Can anyone give me an idea or direct me to a site that may give me an estimate on their worth. Thank you.

Yep, just pull on the trigger as you close the bolt. That's the method I prefer.

If I want to stick with a shorter OAL for a coyote calling rifle, would the 223 be a better choice or would the 22-250 be fine with the 20" barrel length.

I guess I should have mentioned that I only use factory loads. It seems that all of the factory 7'08 offerings are in 139 or 140 gr except Remington, which offers a 120 gr hollow point. I've just picked up a 7mm-08, and I'm not all that familiar with this caliber other than all the good things...

After reading this, I realize now that I really have no use for a ballistic plex. It's extemely rare for me to have shots at distances beyond 250-300 yds where I hunt.

DTOM, thank you for the insight! I understand. Actually, after looking a bit further into the technical specs of this scope, it appears the adjustments are 1/2 MOA rather than 1/4. I don't think I'd be satisfied with that. I'm looking for a good semi-compact scope, but also a good value.

I've heard good reviews on Burris optics and they're comparably priced with the Bushnell Elite 3200 in 2-7, which I've also read good things about. I kinda like the idea of the balistic plex reticle. This will go on a 7 '08 deer rifle.

30-06 Lover, why do you want to replace your ADL with an SPS? My guess would be that you'd rather have either the hinged floorplate magazine or detachable magazine feature. Or, possibly you'd rather have a 24" barrel over the 22" barrel but I don't see where the barrel length would be worth...
