ACU vs MultiCam vs OD / Ranger Green

Have you considered woodland camouflage for blending well with a woodland environment? Cheaper than UCP (the actual name of the ACU pattern) or Multicam, too. You can get woodland BDUs and pouches at just about every surplus store/website.

    best ar-15 sling

A good 2-point sling is the VCAS (http://www.blueforcegear.com/product.cfm?type=cat&cat_id=5&prod_id=79). It seems like you're really asking about attachment methods, which is entirely different from the sling. If you have railed handguards, you can attach a sling to the side rail; otherwise...

    night vision and holo sights

I'm not sure I understand your question. If you're asking if the recoil from an air rifle will force a holosight to fall apart under the stresses, I suspect even the cheap sights will hold up. If you're asking about a more expensive (and higher quality) sight, like an EOTech, I can tell you...

    Need info on Walther PPS

Felt recoil isn't bad at all. I shoot just as well with the PPS as with my USPc or G19 (all 9mm). Don't have any experience with other pistols in the same size class...perhaps an XD Subcompact, but the PPS is much thinner. No smacking. Tired...of what? No discomfort while shooting, so...

Any experience w Tate Defense ??

I tried to. They lied about what was in stock, failed to return any of my emails, and I had to track down the owner's home phone number before they'd talk with me. I strongly suggest you find someone else.

What scope/sight for my CX4 Storm?

Well...you already said you don't want this, but it should be said. Run an EOTech. I'm all for new experiences, but I try to keep my equipment relatively standard; you know the EOTech works, you trust it...buy another EOTech.

    USP Compact IWB holster suggestions

I strongly recommend a guy named Greg Peters, www.peterscustomholsters.com. He made an IWB for my Walther PPS that is lightyears beyond anything else I've used (Galco, DeSantis, Hume, Fobus, Safariland) in terms of comfort and utility...only catch is that it's Kydex. Normally not a problem...

Trijcon Nights Sights vs. TruGlo Fiber Optic Sights

I have TFOs on my XD and Trijicons on my HK USPc. Both are great. If you buy the TFOs, I suggest you read johnle's post above me, and immediately upon receiving your slide with the sights installed (or after doing it yourself), put a coat or two of clear nail polish along the top of the fiber...

Good sights that also rack slide on belt or shoe?

By the way, using your shoe is a bad habit to develop...because someday you'll be standing in mud and use your shoe, and then you'll have a barrel full of mud. Had it happen to a LEO friend of mine during a course of fire...he never used his shoe again.

Good sights that also rack slide on belt or shoe?

For straight night sights, Trijicons. If you want something a little more high-tech, try the TFOs. I can rack either of these on my belt easily.

Inexpensive rail-mount weaponlight that works? (LED preferred.)

Put a Surefire G2LED in 1" scope rings. Problem solved...and if you feel really highspeed, get the tape switch for it.

    Feelings on Eotech 512

No; the zero is mechanical, not electronic. Killing the circuit (removing batteries) doesn't affect zero in any way...only changing the mount will affect zero. "I wasn't meaning that you had to remove it or take it apart and that might lose your zero I was just curious that since it is a...

    Vertical Grip For AR-15

My only concern with that system (and this is just from looking at it) is that because it's not held in with bolts, will it pull loose when you apply pressure via a vertical foregrip?

    Vertical Grip For AR-15

Yes, they do. http://www.midwayusa.com/ebrowse.exe/browse?tabid=9&categoryid=15328&categorystring=10636***10560***8807***11619*** Edit - Just remembered that I have one. If you email me in about 10 days, I'll send it to you...deal?

    Vertical Grip For AR-15

You can buy a rail that bolts to your handguard...cheaper than an entire rail system. Just an idea.

pepper spray the best overall tool of defence

While I'm not immune to OC (but I wish I was), before this deployment, we all got a Level 1 exposure...which is to say, sprayed in a Z-pattern across the forehead and face. I was able to complete a several-station combatives course before it really hit me and affected my abilities. OC hurts...

Go with Chinook...I just bought a whole bunch of medical supplies from them, and couldn't be happier.
