So we will effectively be banned from fireworks, bp, and anything that is protected by the Constitution. Why is is that when a group of politicians don't like something they screw us?
Great find. I have been looking for a 66 for sometime and I came into a Performance Center 66 F Comp without the lock. I love the way the 3" brls balance. I just need to find a nice set of wood, Ahrends or Spegel, grips and a holster and I will be all set.
Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful revolvers there. I have been keeping my eye open for one but the only ones I have found local are over 500 bucks and at 80% or less.
Thanks for sharing.
Nice find. I just traded off my 617-5 on a 66 Comp F and regret letting it go. I have caught myself looking for another .22lr revolver to replace it. This time I want the half lug and not the full one.
Thanks for sharing!
I would think that you could get the cylinder refinished and not have to do the whole gun. BTW, I just picked up a 27 with a 5" brl. I think that is my favorite .357 mag now--even over the 4" Python I have.
I just got a 17 with 4" full lug. I really enjoyed shooting it the other day but would like a trigger/action job on it and a set of those Millet sights.
Are you doing the T/A work yourself or someone else doing it? Any names for a T/A job?
Thanks
Here is the 4", blue, steel cylinder, revolver I picked up last week. I shot it day before yesterday and seems to be pretty accurate. Does anyone know if trigger jobs can be done a .22lr revolver?
OK, so this is 15 bucks for 325 rds? I am picking up a S&W M41 this week with a 5" and 7 1/2" brl. I am not sure of age or anything like that but the guy I am getting it from said it was his grandfathers that just passed away. Who knows.
Thanks for the heads up, I will go by Chinamart...
And the price of ammo to feed them. I just picked up a S&W M17 with a 4" brl in .22lr. Basically it feels like holding onto a 586 in .357 mag. Now I need the 586 I sold to a friend back so I have a "matched" set.
I had one of the Ultra Varmint in .223 Rem and it was a decent shooter like 1 MOA. I sold the rifle but have been thinking of getting another one in .243 Win. Now the reason for .243 Win is I have about 400 rds of handloaded ammo with a 65 gr V-Max. Any idea if they shoot better with the...
I have owned both. The M&P was ok, but I hated the trigger. My USP Tactical is great, reliable, accurate, and I can put my suppressor on the end. I guess it is up to you but for me I say USP all the way.
I have got a Nighthawk Talon, S&W Model 27, S&W 629, and a Remy Shotty. Not sure if I will keep the shotty because I am not a big shotty guy but it was part of a deal.
I have always liked the looks of the top breaks but shoot Colt stles better. I have a 10th anniversry coming up next year and I thought about trying to convience the wife into getting me a custom SAA. Take a look at USFA too as they are top notch and have some beatiful engraved guns.
I traded my MSAR right after the election for one point--spare parts are too expensive, you have to send the rifle in for things that might break, and if they ever cease their production it would have been a limited shooting rifle.
That is the way I see a lot of the rifles still on the shelf...
To be honest I have too many firearms that are over the top in price--but quality too. I used to have over 50 firearms but through the last couple years I have thinned down considerably and replaced with quality. To me, I am trying to get the nicest ones I can while I can.
Regret, there are...
