    642-2 Holster - Galco

My holster finally came in (was backordered). It's a Galco CON-158B for my 642-2 with Crimson LG-405 Laser Grips. It's fits like a glove (pre-formed and the barrel extends to a perfect 1/4" from the bottom). It also wears very close to your waist. I use this same holster for all my carry...

    642 - lockup

Cylinders do line up nicely, no end-shake, with a gap much smaller than a credit card (probably about .003 at most). However, I do get a little cylinder side to side wiggle (slight). Does your 642 fully lock the cylinder with the trigger held firmly back?

    Spacing between extractor and breech-face

S&W 4513TSW. Having feed problems. When a new round is ripped from the magazine, it should slide up and under the extractor. Sometimes I get a round that slides up but gets in front of the extractor. When the slide tries to close, it does not go fully into battery as casing head is between the...

    S&W 4513TSW - Comments Welcome

Recently, I started having a failure with my S&W 4513TSW. After it goes bang, the casing ejects just fine, but when the slide moves the next round into battery, the back of the casing (on the new round), sometimes will end up on the *wrong* side of the extractor (towards the barrel), instead of...
