If You Desire to Have an Attorney and Cannot Afford One, ....

This seems more reasonable, and I frankly would like to see it nullified completely.

If You Desire to Have an Attorney and Cannot Afford One, ....

So why keep the Miranda warnings in particular?

If You Desire to Have an Attorney and Cannot Afford One, ....

But that doesn't answer my question. Why are police required to educate people about their rights at all?

If You Desire to Have an Attorney and Cannot Afford One, ....

I had a pretty good legal head before, but I just finished 1L, and now I believe even more strongly, if you need a lawyer, you need the RIGHT lawyer. Having taken law school-level Criminal Law, I told a bunch of the people sitting around me that if they took my concealed carry class, I would...

    must-have accessories for Dillon RL550?

Yeah, when I was running the Lee I quickly learned how important the light is. ;)

    must-have accessories for Dillon RL550?

I had my fun with the Lee ALBP, it was educational and interesting, but I'm moving, and I decided I don't want to take it with me. For the price I don't mind scrapping it, it paid for itself. So I'm pretty sure I want to just upgrade to a Dillon, skip the next couple of steps in between. I will...

Concealed Carry at Public Events? (Moved from Legal)

Utah does too. I was flat baffled when I went to visit a special needs family member in a mental health facility, and they asked us to use the lockers to secure our personal items before going inside.

Concealed Carry at Public Events? (Moved from Legal)

There is something to be said for being aware that you are in the middle of a mass of easy targets when there's nothing you can do about it. Having said that, music and concerts are a big part of my life, and I have no intention of giving them up entirely. I DO however, think really hard and...

    Scope for AR 10?

And mine IS the Vortex. I'm not SURE it's the problem, but I think it's a easy way to make sure.

    Shotgun ammo for home defense

I run a VR80 with 10 rd magazines, my normal is Federal #4, but I have a lot of 00 kicking around. I want to sample some Wolf 00, see how it runs, if it's good I might bulk up on it.

    Scope for AR 10?

I am currently running this cantilever mount, and I'm having trouble holding POI. Some forums have told me to avoid this kind of mount, I may switch to regular rings to see if that fixes the problem.

    Is TAPCO back?

I did a little googling, a few sites like MWI and PSA are selling Tapco parts, with varying availability. Didn't see a site for them, not sure who they fall under now.

    Is TAPCO back?

I still have my Tapco'd SKS, and it's fun. But that wasn't what I really needed to make it run well. I put on Tech-Sights to move the rear sight closer to the eye, and a thinner front sight post, Kivaari trigger, etc. I had a smith shave off the magazine grooves on the bolt to be able to switch...

"If I'm going into a bad area..."

I also have limited sympathy for people who are 'forced' to go into dangerous places. I have worked in places where that was literally the job, to go do things in bad places. That was my choice. It was also my choice to not do it forever, and alter my living circumstances so I wouldn't have to...

"If I'm going into a bad area..."

I absolutely concur with the OP, and it was what I imparted to my concealed carry classes. If you're "going to the bad side of town", and you are compelled to take a gun because there is an elevated risk, the correct answer is DO NOT GO THERE. Not; "take a gun and go anyway."

Is Delta 9 THC a controlled substance?

This is the controversy. Delta 8 and Delta 9 are cannabinoids, they are full THC. You will get high and fail a drug test if you use them. It is also making the CBD market confusing, because many CBD products are now mixed with these other cannabinoids. This is why a lot of organizations (like...

Is the 2018 Farm Bill not Federal Law?

Is Delta 9 THC a controlled substance?

I know you understand, that the ambiguity exists. I'm not trying to say that gun owners should use all the pot they want and there will never be any consequences. But until this issue is turned one way or the other, the problem will grow and the final answer will be more difficult to adapt to...

Is Delta 9 THC a controlled substance?

I'm asking here because it's finals crunch. AFTER I survive Civpro, Contracts, and Crimlaw, maybe I will do some searching and Shepardizing on it. My quick googling has produced mixed results. The DEA seems to hold it's a controlled substance. But they're not busting anyone for it. It would...
