    Sig P320 drop test.

So frequent equates to invalid? Yes, it's several years old, but the question is did they fix it or even acknowledge it by now?

    My Favorite S&W Model

Ditto here. I have a 1955 Combat Masterpiece with a 4-inch barrel. I've been told it's either a Combat or a Target Masterpiece, by differing experts. And my name is also Ed, but known as Grandpa Ed, not Uncle.

No more gun shows for me

After decades of attending gun shows several times a year I maxed out and stopped going after 2008 or thereabouts. Late last year I accompanied my daughter and SIL to my first one in 15 years. Hated the atmosphere, the new entrance fee and the choices. Now for sure I won't ever attend another...

    Snappy .380 pistols

I know. But that ship sailed a long time ago. In the 80s I had both an 84 F and later a BDA and had no problems retracting the slides back then. Either I became too old for that function in those models or the satin nickel finish in my 85 FS just tends to seize up the rails. Update note...

    Snappy .380 pistols

Whenever I've shot this Beretta Cheetah 85 FS at the range it was accurate, reliable and I found the recoil comfortable. My issue with its operation is that the slide is tough to retract by my aged hands.

    Do you own a Glock?

I've owned four since 1990 and currently have two, a G30 and G36. I first shot one in 1985, a gun that a military attache brought back from Austria to his country, which was my overseas post at the time. I remember that if felt like shooting real bullets with a rubber gun, which it was. RIP...

    Snappy .380 pistols

Not snappy to me, but the slide is a beatch to retract with my ancient hook of a left hand. Even after switching off the safety. Lol.

    The Combat Masterpiece

This is, from what I've been able to learn, my nickel-plated K-38 Combat Masterpiece that dates from 1955 based on the serial number. I understand that they didn't call this the model 15 until 1958.

Why do/did you choose a revolver as your EDC over a semiauto?

I pocket carry and draw ergonomics of the revolver is superior, for me, than that of any autoloader. For the rest, the already discussed reliability and safety considerations are important to me too.

    Suggestions for 45acp Pocket Pistol

There is at least one pocket holster made for the Glock 36, by Alabama Holsters. It will fit in the front pocket in Tru-Spec cargo pants or cargo shorts. Can't imagine that it would be very comfortable to carry, but it is designed for pocket carry.

My EDC is going to be 10 yrs old, what would you do?

It's not my only concealed carry nowadays but sometimes it still is: a J-frame Chiefs Special 60-7 snubbie.
