Have had a Full size Tactical .45 for a number of years now. I have over 2000 rounds through it, mix of ball and HP, never once failed to go bang or into battery. Looking to add a 9mm 2011 to the family for 3 gun competitions.
Yes, to answer one of your questions, the Aero Precision lower is as good as a BCM lower, am building on 2 of them right now..using mostly PSA components/uppers...
If you are wondering about the status of your order from PSA go to the Industry section on ARFCOM, you can send a pm straight to their rep. He/she will usually respond within 24 hours. I've used this feature and it works. Not trying to plug another website, but it may offer some folks here...
PSA has some great gear at good prices. That being said, they are experiencing exponential growth and have some customer service issues. Their customer service team just moved into a new building last week, so hopefully that will smooth things out. They have a forum in the industry section on...
Your price point seems to put you in the general vicinity of the Ruger 762. Seems to be a good choice for your stated purposes. You may also want to look at the S & W MP 10.
I am really starting to dislike you! (ok, I may exaggerate a little..) At the very least I am jealous of you..would love to pick up a k31...gotta finish putting my 3-gun kit together first...You did a great job on that beauty!
Bailed out of the sinking ship that is NY 12 years ago, moved to SC, bought my first house only 4 miles from a lovely beach. Great gun laws, employment options in my field could be a little better (I.T.) But am working overseas now and banking half my pay. Dont miss NY one little bit!
Cant say I am a fan of the polymer lowers. I have never used any such, it is just my personal preference. There are many top flight lowers available at reasonable prices these days and I prefer the peace of mind the all metal lowers gives me. Seems like a solution in search of a problem...
I have had a Stag 3G for about a year now, LOVE it! Best trigger I have used to date, more accurate than I am, even with bulk ammo. No reliability issues to date.
Congrats on the new Roscoe! I have been looking for a Model 25 for years now...everytime I see one locally they are $850.00 and up. You did VERY well...
Except for hunting ammo in major centerfire calibers there is virtually no pistol or centerfire ammo in the Myrtle Beach area...Bass Pro Shop has some shotgun ammo.
