Had an early Steyr M40 with the added safety I loved it only problem was the hot brass hitting me in the forehead got old quick so I sold it.
The fit was perfect on the grip and the sights were ok.
It's a good kit to start with I still use mine I bought way back when. Only problem I had was with the toggle link on the handle breaking but they updated that part and it works fine now.
Check out other shops, some will let you just pay for ammo and they will let you try the used inventory with no range fee. Also like said before find a pistol that fits your hand good first don't worry about gadgets looks etc.

I have done the Shaw 6.5x55 Swede barrel swap with no issue other than with the bolt face, just use American (Remington, Winchester) brass cases to fit the bolt face.
