Really like my Geissele SSA. I would suggest finding someone to go shooting that also has a single stage. Very interesting to compare and I think you'll know right off which is for you.
Depends on the situation. First gun for me no way. If it's special or has some type of family history, then keep it. If it's just something you bought to play with and need some cash, dump it.

Shoot it! You don't have to abuse it, just go hit a few paper plates. I have my Grandfathers winchester 97 and believe me, it's hit several clays in it's day since I've had it. Makes me smile when I do take it out.
I think the best compromise is going to be a .45 acp. Keep it sub sonic and while it's going to ring a bit, probably won't last longer than 5-10 minutes. Just know, it's probably going to destroy small game. You really need a 22lr for that.

Now, I wasn't verbally abusive to her, I think the reaction gave her the best feedback she could have gotten. The guy behind the counter could have easily said just point the gun in a safe direction next time. He didn't say a word to her. That's my point and why I left.
