Taurus 605 Poly and heavy 180gr stuff

I'm sure it won't be the most fun ever but I've fired full power stuff from 340pd and while it wouldn't be what I would do all the time it was doable. Also I've fired 400gr stuff thru the 329pd, not pleasant but doable. I'm assuming this will be less recoil than that

    That's a great idea

Taurus 605 Poly and heavy 180gr stuff

Anyone run a decent amount of heavy stuff thru a 605 poly? Kinda considering one for smaller hiking gun when the 329pd is too big. Its not gonna be 5000 rounds, but enough to know where it hits point of aim etc. I notice that Buffalo Bore says steel only for their stuff at least and I'm...

    Heaviest 10mm

What? Why exactly would you assume that I want 44 magnum level of power?!? Literally, I want heavy subsonic 10mm, not super power.

    Heaviest 10mm

Ok, I was wondering if anyone had gone super heavy and subsonic with the 10mm

What is the heaviest gr bullet you've seen in the 10mm? Handload data or factory load

What shoots 30 Carbine besides an M1 Carbine

Buffalo Bore and a few others I think have recently done some newer better loads for the 30 carbine too, I believe there's a 125gr hardcast load now

    Exceptionally soft shooting pistols

I've fired a few cylinders of the 400gr, and i think the vast majority was over 240gr. No problems

What shoots 30 Carbine besides an M1 Carbine

T This one was $3200 I didn't buy it lol

What shoots 30 Carbine besides an M1 Carbine

I've always wanted one of those, I've seen one in real life though and it was stupendously expensive lol

    Exceptionally soft shooting pistols

Unless one of those huge magnums is 25oz lol I find it fun to shoot with low powered 44spec but my wife, who is recoil sensitive, doesn't find it comfortable at all

    Exceptionally soft shooting pistols

Hence why I'm not handing them a huge magnum, no matter how much they think it'll be cool.

    Exceptionally soft shooting pistols

It's a revolver. I do have a few 22 mags too. If I borrow I won't have an excuse to buy a new gun or 2

    Exceptionally soft shooting pistols

I'm actually a pretty big fan of that particular generation of Taurus Snubbies, I wanted a 415 for years until I got a 44c

    Exceptionally soft shooting pistols

    Interesting, I didn't know they did a 32mag blackhawk

    Exceptionally soft shooting pistols

I have an airlight 329pd and have 400gr loads for it, I'm not doing that to them at all

    Exceptionally soft shooting pistols

What is a pistol you fired that surprised you at how soft shooting it was? I may have a situation where I'm teaching people who have never shot a gun to shoot and my tastes tend towards huge magnum sixguns. I have a few 22s but I'm looking for something a bit more too. I'm considering a Charter...

    Recoil of 9mm vs 380

Firing a p3at is like shooting an exploding credit card. I'd rather shoot my air light 44mag, not because the p3at has more recoil ( it doesn't, the 44 is hugely more) but because it's a more pleasant recoil.

Kel Tec P32 vs. P3AT or Ruger LCP

The p3at sucks to shoot , sure but it's not a gun you take out and shoot a bunch really. I had a choice between the 32 and the p3at , I chose the 380 because of the problems with rimlock on the p32. I just can't bring myself to carry a gun that may jam because of the actual round when the more...
