I’ve been carrying my Trr8 a little bit. Need to take it out more. An unbuttoned button up shirt covers it. I’ve since taken off the ivories and they are for sale. Went back to stock hogues it came with
I’ll show you tonight when I get home. I don’t feel it’s excessive. Might be optical illusion. The beveled projectile sits in there snug. Doesn’t hand seat to the lube groove. But has a nice pop when you pull the bullet. I zoomed in on that pic. There might be some residue on some that makes it...
My USED rcbs uni hand primer was missing the large parts and they sent them for free ( thank you RCBS!) so I primed and belled 50 cases. Ready for my PC’d western bullet 240 SWC Kieth bullets courtesy of AJC1 ❤️. Also my new 44 Lee factory crimp die came In. Going to whip up another 50 for this run
Just finished 100 rounds of 38 special wadcutters. Starline brass, Berrys 148 DEWC’s over 3.8gr of HP-38 and separated my seating and crimping into two steps. Using my new Lee factory crimp die. I love it. Prettiest and most consistent ammo I’ve made for far!
Well…. If loving Hillary hole/2 piece barrel guns is wrong, I don’t wanna be right! Oh boy. Took the 67-6 and my Trr8 to range today. LAX new 158 gr FMJ. First shot at 7 yards with 67-6 went right in the color dot I put on paper. 14.5lb DA trigger too! It’s smooth though. The uncle mikes...
I didn’t take pics. I’ll take them next time if still there. Just imagine a “brand new” trooper. That’s what it looks like Probably should have bought it but I just got a 67-6 that is an absolute tack driver
I mean this thing is mint. If he didn’t tell me it was refinished at some point I would not have known and could easily pass it off as like new barely fired.
So I’m at the gun store right now looking at this trooper. It’s an original trooper 38 special gun it has been refinished but it absolutely is gorgeous. It looks brand new and it’s tight as a drum. The stocks are beautiful. I believe it’s got a box but not the original box they want 595. I don’t...
I have a Trr8 and a 686 no dash. Both are VERY VERY spicy with full house magnums!! 1500fps+. Not fun actually. Wood on 686 and faux ivory on Trr8. I’m going to put oem hogue rubber back on Trr8 and see how that feels. I’d “like” to have a dedicated 357 gun. 38+p is all I really need though
