OK! My cousin is in prison. His crime? Having sex with his 16yo girlfriend a month after he turned 18? He is now a felon and registered sex offender the rest of his life. Has been in prison the past 6 years with many more to go. How's that for fair?
I'm only 23 and I can remember back in 5th grade my friend brought a shotgun shell and a few other bullets to class. Teacher saw him showing them off. She told him to put them back in his desk and to take them home and don't bring them back. No shutting down the school, no swat, no ruined lives.
Yea that's what my attorney told me as well. Basically what happened was I got a "suspended sentence" and had to do some probation. I completed the probation and therefore I didn't actually have a "conviction". Now all I have to do is wait and when the time come my attorney is going to file a...
I'm an "adjudicated felon" so to speak. I got charged with a felony and since it was my first time to get in trouble I got a defferred sentence. I will never actually be convicted of a felony though. Therefore I can still own firearms, vote, etc. And before you all start with holier than thou...
What probably happened is the guy switched it to the "auto" position, it slam fired a few times and jammed up since it had no auto sear. Just a speculation.
Ya know, what makes me mad it we've got armed thugs out there actually commiting REAL crimes and the ATF wants to ruin some mans life over this BS. Gun laws are so stupid.
I can't believe what i'm seeing on here.
I'd be willing to bet that MOST of you saying that he went too far have never been robbed or threatened at gunpoint. Looking down the barrel of a gun knowing that at any second your life is going to be over is a life changing experience. He should've...

Ok I know this is an old subject but how is he only facing 5 years for this?
He had mgs and sillencers AND was a felon in possesion. Isn't a SINGLE one of these charges 10 years itself? It seems like he would be facing more like 55 years...
As long as I am treated with respect, I am very respectful toward police. I am ususally upset that I got pulled over, but hey, they didn't force me to speed. So I don't let that show. My "attitude" so to speak comes from growing up in a small town and having to deal with the "I am an authority...
The staying inside is fine with me. But the keeping my hands on the steering wheel is not gonna happen, nor is the keys on the dash. It is uncomfortable to do so and makes me feel like a criminal. They will rest where they normally do. What is the purpose of removing your keys? That's just silly...
That's actually how I acquired most of my guns. I've only had one that I wish I wouldn't have bought. A semi auto mac 11 .380. I don't like it bc it doesn't work half the time. If I have the money I usually buy it unless it is a high dollar (1000 +) purchase, then I can sometimes talk myself...
My thompson 1911 is my favorite pistol in the safe. I have the WWII G.I. Parkerized Replica. I bought mine used for 400. The only problem I've had was when the recoil spring wore out. Replaced it and never had a problem since. I would jump on that deal.
