Over the last ~15 years I have ordered 6-8 stocks from Richards Microfit. Some were great, some were fair needing a lot of work, and some never came at all. They were always late. I use Boyds when I can now.

I've got me 3 all around guns. In 338-06, 30-06 and 6.5x55. Each has its uses, but I shoot the 6.5x55 a LOT more. I can tell you that the old Swede rifle works on Canadian Moose and American deer and hogs. Still, I cant think of a more useful short action caliber than the 338 Federal.

I sited in and hunted some with a friends BLR in .243. I found it be better than any bolt action to bring to the shoulder, but the barrel heated quickly and groups fell off to about 3 1/2 inches ( at 100 yards) when in rapid fire. I also didn't like the trigger. Still, if Browning ever makes...

I love mine, I put it in a Boyds aftermarket laminated stock and Warne rings. Now it's a 1/2 inch shooter. Don't waste your money with detachable type rings.

You might consider getting Carl at ASI to change the Mini into a 6.5 Grendel. Then you will have a rifle that is perfectly adequate for deer (and other like sized critters) out to farther away than the .308 does. Ammo is available from Wolf (check with Cabalas or Grendel sites) this month...

The CZ is a great rifle for the price, I'd get it. If you like a million aftermarket products and keep changing your mind on what you want, the 1022 is the way to go.

I much prefer my CZ over my Savage. Both could use improved stocks. There are fewer after market products for the CZ line. No experience with the Howa.

It might be useful to add the .22 rimfire to the poll. I plan to get one to get more practice and save on ammo.
