    Cleaning ammo

Set all of it near a fire ant bed. It will probably be clean before dark.

Or leaving it in the back window of your pickup in the school parking lot while in class. Yes indeed sadly times have changed.

    Knock-off M1 Carbine

Wolff springs make replacement upgraded springs for the Universal carbines and for 30rd mags as well. When I replaced mine my carbine went from malfunctioning about every 4th round to running like a sewing machine. I also picked up another one a few years ago cheap that had the same problems...

    Any Galil/Golani Owners Here?

As you can tell by my screen name I am a big fan of the GALIL. A real IMI GALIL will not let you down & I love mine, but I bought most of my guns 15 to 20 yrs ago. I have AR's too and they are great also. If I were looking to buy today I would not pay $2000.00 to $4000.00 for any of the pre 89...

Suspended from work for mentioning an AK47 on a date

That's one reason I carry a GALIL and an UZI too. It just seems appropriate. You would not have that problem in south GA. Our pastors, decons, and even the little old ladies are as well armed as anyone else.

    Faux UZI Supressor

Ask over on the UZITALK.com forum. Someone over there was making several different kinds last year. I have no experience with them personally but, a fair number of people over there were buying them.

    opinions of TAURUS 92, 58

Love my Taurus PT99 I have had it since 1992, put alot of rounds through it, it has seen more than its share of water and mud, and always comes out firing. I can't remember ever having any kind of malfunction with it.

Anyone see any Hornady Critical Defense Ammo in 380

For the last 17yrs I think most of the people I know thought I was somewhat cooky for buying large quantities of ammo in bulk when it was cheap, asking for ammo for christmas and birthday presents. I was usually the only one picking up all the spent brass when we went shooting. No amount of...

    Marlin 1894 .44 Magnum

2yrs ago I paid about $500.00 for a 99.9% one. I would have paid$350.00 for one in 75% condition if I had came across one.

The other BBR (Blessed Black Rifle)

UZITALK is the only place I know of but, then again once I found there site I have not really looked anywhere else. I bought a couple of UZI cases from a guy on there a few years back. I can't remember his name but I think it is tacked a the top of the UZI forum. You might want to check them out...

The other BBR (Blessed Black Rifle)

Nice Uzi. You will love it. I have had my IMI model b for about 13yrs and I still like it better and better every time I use it. I also have a 922r compliant Norinco Uzi and it doesn't look quite as nice but it shoots just as well. You might want to check out UZITALK.com . There is a wealth of...

    .308 Rifle

The model 700 Remington mountain rifle has a detachable mag, I think it's a 22" barrel, and mine has pretty nice wood. I guess they are still available. You could probably order it with sights I don't know.

    Coach gun for home defense?

Kinetic energy or Newton's Third Law and all that I know nothing about. But I can tell you what happens to a 200lb white tail deer. While hunting deer with dogs about 15yrs ago I had a deer pop out of some extremely thick brush at no more than 10 to 15 feet away. I imediately shot him with...

Anyone remember a .44 mag mag feed carbine??

I do seem to recall seeing that picture on the cover about 25 yrs ago. I don't think it was an auto mag but it could have been, that was too long ago to remember. I believe the .44 mag ruger rifle came along way before the 10/22.

    Small 9mm

The compact Baby Eagle and CZ-75 compact both shoot well but are mid sized. I like the G26 for a subcompact. even with my large hands I can shoot it well.

    Feather Rav-9mm: Any reviews, thoughts?

I had an AT-9 in the early nineties I sold it to fund another gun. I liked it. It was more accurate than I expected. It is not built like an IMI UZI or anything but it was a fun gun while I had it. I had no malfunctions that I remember.

which gun should you use to kill a snake?

Most of the snakes I see in south Georgia are poisonous. Lots of diamondback rattlers, timber rattlers, ground rattlers(or pigmy), cottonmouth, copperhead, and water moccasins. I have only killed 2 coral snakes though. I use whatever is handy sticks, hoes, rakes, any number of guns. There is...

    My New Taurus....errrr....MK II

I have the same blued slab side MKII I purchased new in the mid nineties. Mine came with the smooth wood grips with a thumbrest. I think it was a limited run for one of the wholesalers at the time. It is so pretty I never carry it but I do shoot it and I promise you will not regret your...

    I bought a Beretta 92 because:

I bought the Taurus instead. It was my first centerfire handgun I purchased in 1992 I think. I chose it over the Berretta at the time because it was $25.00 less and had a lifetime warranty versus no warranty on the Berretta back then. My buddy bought one at the same time also. After all...

    Feather Rav-9mm: Any reviews, thoughts?

I had an AT9 in 1993. It was suprisingly accurate. I never had any problems with it. I sold it to fund a bushmaster car-15 prior to the 1994 ban. My friend always liked it and would not sell it back to me. He kept it until his exwife decided to keep it for herself a few years ago. It was not in...
