cheap will usually not get you a real fireproof safe. Here is one that seems to be good. This one is good and has good feedback and is only 50 bucks. Its only rated at 1/2 hour fire protection though where as the other is 1hr.

I've been using a Browning BPS 20ga and 12ga since the 80's for dove hunting. This past year I switched to Browning Silver Hunter in 20gauge and will never look back!!! I love this gun!!!

All the Harris ones I have seen are the swivel mount type. but they do have the rail adapters and you then put the bipod on that.

I think you use these Just look up Harris Hollow bi-pod adapters or like mentioned above, thats made to put a rail on it.

the problem with carrying in seat is if you have toddler seats in the truck. Also don't see how theft is a concern as you would only use to and from your destination. I wouldn't leave them in truck.

I too wonder why they went down in popularity. I hate laying my shotguns, etc on the rear seat. Since I have young kids, I still have car seats in my truck so i can't lay them in a case there. Having sometime of rack or something on the window would really come in handy.

Depends where you are I guess. Most online places offer free shipping. At least most of the big ones do. Then usually all you have to pay is the transfer fee which is usually 15-50 bucks. Even with all that said and done I can usually get a gone 50-100 dollars cheaper after local taxes...

That I knew. Thats actually been the case for almost all weapons. The Bolt in a lot of firearms contains the weaker metal and in same cases some have a plastic part too. I know a lot of Semi Auto shotguns have plastics in the bolt assembly for that reason.

I mostly Dove Hunt and I too used a 12 gauge most of my dove hunting life. I just recently switched to a 20 gauge Browning Silver Hunter and WOW. Gun is so light, moves so well I just LOVE IT.

I too have a Mod 94 Winchester in .30-30 from the 80's and it is AWESOME. i love shooting that gun. Honestly it excites me more than my AR.
