Yes they have the metal reinforcement buttons inside. I know what you are talking about and they are there. These grips were put together well very smooth where the two panels come together and are fitted to the gun better than the originals!
Well I've already shot 30 rounds with the new grips and I have to say that I like them. They actually handle the recoil better than the factory fat target grips! They are keepers!
Don't know if your remember my post a few weeks ago? I had just bought a S&W M29-3 with a 8 3/8" barrel. I've been shooting it a lot and I'm very happy with my new revolver!
However, I was not very fond of the factory stock grips, they felt a little too fat for my taste, even with my large...

I need to get my new loader (Dillon 550B) setup ASAP so I can start practicing a lot with the new gun. I have an RCB single stage loader but it's...
Well I left my 20's behind on my birthday back in June when I turned 30. I've been looking for a Model 57 since that day. I haven't found many since then and when I did find one it was in less condition than I was willing to tolerate.
I go into my local gun store today with the intention of...
Will someone in Maine please define "downeast"?
Does that mean "southeast"?
Downeast means southeast along the coast and it doesn't start until after Bar Harbor! Of course the people of Bar Harbor would say otherwise. Pretty much all of Washington county.
Yes, but we have the land mass and the big woods to support them! I can understand southern Maine where there are more people, but downeast and the north woods could support a lot more deer without interfering with man too much. It wouldn't be a shooting frenzy either because most people prefer...
Visionz45 is right don't let my pictures fool you. I took the whole season off this year and I only saw 4 deer, one small buck that I could of shot but I was hoping for one of the bigger ones and the rest were does. If you notice I only get one or a couple of pictures at one time and then they...
I do a lot of scouting and then I place my cameras where there is a lot of sign, (a lot of sign for around here). I also go way off the beaten path where other hunters don't venture too often. My friends like to do a lot of still hunting but when you do this there is a lot of jump shooting. I...
Ok I'm done you are probably mad at me by now for overloading the thread with pictures, sorry i just wanted to give you a taste of Maine.

Good range report. I have an M&P 45 that I've owned for about a year now. At first I had a problem with the trigger reset too, but after plenty of range time with it I am use to it now.
I also had a problem with shooting to the left of where I was aiming too. This was an easy fix. I was use...
How does following a blood trail mean that you wounded a deer? I have been fortunate enough that all of my deer have died within sight. My father shot a big 260 pound field dressed buck a couple of years ago with a .308 win, the bullet passed through both lungs, and yet the deer still went about...
