1 Load about 500 winchester cases in the vibratory cleaner
add corn cob media and used dryer sheets run for 1 hr
size and deprime cases on press run in cleaner for 1 hr with
walnut media and nu-finish
prime, flare, charge case, (look in case for visual of powder)
seat bullet and remove...
when testing loads don't load more than 20 rounds.
ten for chronograph and ten for 2 5-shot groups.
It sucks when loads don't work out and you have to
pull bullets.
My expectations with my loads are sub 2" groups at 15yards out of my Glock 19 from a shooting rest.
147gr. berrys plated round nose 5 shot groups.

It doesn't. I was interested in finding out what 38spl bullets you can't push past 800fps. I wanted to know what gun to see if it was an older model .38. What powder can't achieve velocities at those speeds safely.
Just thought I might be able to help more if I knew these answers.
what kind of bullets are they?
What gun are you shooting them out of?
what powder and primer combination are you using?
I suggest getting the electronics seperate from the screens.
I use the Chrony beta master.
Tips:
Use wood dowel rods instead of the metal ones that
come with it. (mine...
lizard litter (fine crushed walnut) from petsmart I tumble 20 minutes before i size cases then punch out the primers and tumble 20 minutes again to clean the primer pockets. Never have a problem with clogged primer pockets. also use used dryer sheets cut into 1" strips to keep the media lasting...
I shoot in the action sports and there is a power factor floor I don't want to be too high and I don't want to be under. one reason why i recommend a chronograph.
It allows you to see when you have reached your limit with your bullet/powder/gun combination.
It will let you see problems...
I can suggest starting out with round-nose bullets for the 45acp. Hollow points and semi wadcutters are a little more complicated for a new reloader.
A shooting rest with a chronograph. You'll probably end up shooting it anyway so get one where the electronics are seperate from the sky-screens.
invest in a hammer type bullet puller you're going to need it eventually. I use the end of a 3' piece of 2X4 to smack it against. then recycle the componets if they are still good.
This statement leads me to believe it's not the gun that is the problem but something to do with the reloading process.
Are you using your calipers on just the very tip of the case on the finished round? Because that is where you measure your crimp. I would also recommend measuring a factory...
longer is better as long as it fits in the magazine and drops out of the barrel without sticking. The LoneWolf barrels have tighter tolerances so you won't be able to seat as long as a 1911 barrel but you should be able to get them to 1.250" (1.253 +-3) Measure a winchester white box factory...
some things to check:
1. set sizing die to just kiss the shell holder when handle down position.
2. drop sized case into barrel it should drop in easily and fall right out without any shaking.
3. expand case mouth .17 to .20 over sized case diameter.
4. seat 230gr.RNL bullet starting at...
most of the time the low and high powder weight is useless for accuracy(it is just a guideline). i usually start 1/10 of a grain up frome there with 10 rounds incrementing higher by 2/10 of a grain (if the powder allows it) chronographing the 10 shot strings looking for pressure signs.
