Even the commercial enblocs CMP sells can be problematic, stay away from new enblocs on EBay, many times they are cheap made china garbage. Use good old USGI enblocs

Yes you should definatly check headspace. Rifles are supposed to be test fired and head space checked but some do slip between the cracks, more so lately. Buddy of mine had one that would not close on a go gauge, very dangerous. Also a good idea to atleast replace the op rod spring with one...
buttplate is SA, hard to tell from the pic but the aperture may be WRA. Would need to see the sight base disassembled, pic taken from the side to see if its WRA. Op Rod catch pic taken from the top or bottom
