Help with loading for AR15 *Please!*

I screwed the full length sizing die down another 1/4 turn and that solved the problem. Would there be any problem with taking off .030" or so off the end of the die so that there is not so much pressure on the shell plate?

Help with loading for AR15 *Please!*

I am new to reloading, purchased a Dillon 650 press recently. I have had great succes loading for my 22-250, and have become increasingly frustrated while loading for my AR15. The gun is a 24" RRA Varmint and I am loading 50gr. Vmax's. What is driving me up the wall is that from what I can...

    Difference in primers

Can you guys that have more experience than me give me any pointers as far as the difference between primers. I had a load worked out that shot good and it was using a Winchester primer. The Winchester primers are difficlut to find, but the CCI seem to be in supply. I have not tried this load...

Rem 700 trigger - adjust or aftermarket?

What lured me to the Jewell besides the ease of adjusting and great feel was the replacement saftey, it glides between safe/fire instead of snapping. When I am done varmint hunting I switch my Jewell from my 22-250 to my .300RUM. It takes me about 5 minutes to switch the two triggers out. If...

Rem 700 trigger - adjust or aftermarket?

Triggers are like hookers, you get what you pay for. Buy the Jewell.

    .223 REm versus 22-250

There is nothing like watching the vapor trail of a 22-250 out to 400yds and seeing a sage rat get dissinigrated! No matter how many times you do it, it just never gets old! There are things that you can do when your barrel starts loosing accuracy. Adjusting your load would be the first.

    interesting new product

I have a Five Seven pistol, so I would consider this over a PS90. Would make a pretty neat little varmint setup.

    Rock River Arms Review?

Well, I have a RRA scout mount to move the scope forward more, and that raises it a bit and I have Leupold Tactical High rings on it. Mine is an A4.

    Rock River Arms Review?

I have a 24" Varmint model and love it. The wait sucked, but it was worth it. It will shoot dime size groups if I do my part.

    Remington 700 trigger ??

If you want a caddilac, get yourself a Jewell. Get the one with the safety built into it, it is so much better than the factory safety.

    .22-250?

I call bull on the Browning chart. I have about 2,000 rds. through my 700 and it is still a tack driver. I am not the best at letting her cool down in a target rich enviroment either. I have only shot factory rds through it at this point.
