It has been said that the chances of a piece of buttered bread landing butter side down on the carpet is directly proportional to the cost of the carpet. In this case though, I would say that the chance of this happening is directly proportional to the cost of a clean pair of underwear.:evil:
Looks like there might be a hairline crack just to the right of 12 o'clock as well and that bottom lug looks kind of rough. I'm not particularly happy with my 700 either. Can't get a scope to zero. Tried three scopes, two bases and two sets of rings and still shoots way to the right.
About a month ago my LGS had 4 lbs of it on the shelf (3 after I left with one). I went back 5 days later; all gone, but many pounds of Blue Dot and Promo.
I reload for all my pistol calibers except 7.62x25. Still have half a tin left after 6 years and I don't shoot it much. Just getting started with .223 and .243 now that I finally can find powder and primers.
+1 on the CZ75b and Kadet kit. If I pair up the same cartridge, it's a CZ82 with a Bulgarian Makarov. If it's same caliber different cartridge then I bring my CZ97b with a Ruger Bisley Vaquero in 45 Colt.
I use the .17 Tipton rod with a Tipton jag and Southern Bloomer patches on my Savage. It's snug, but it should be. The good thing is that you don't need to clean that often, only when you see groups widening up. Like .22, .17 likes to be a bit dirty.
Reloaders Reference v. 9.3x74R shows :
Bullet: Hornady 139gr. Sp Pt.
Powder: Reloader 19
Charge Wt.: 52 gr.
Velocity: 2850
Pressure: 57900
Does not give Primer type or OAL.
This should be considered a MAX load.
The information apparently came from Alliant, however, as you...
Thanks. It sure looks like the Mark V-a or maybe an earlier version. It also looks like it is missing a few pieces. Hopefully we can still get parts for it.
My friend was given this press. It seems to be an inline progressive press. Does anyone know what brand it is. The only thing we can find on it is "Superbee" on the base. Trying to find out if he can still get parts for it.
