I bought one back in April. My advice would be NOT to buy one until you can go to at least 3 places within driving distance and buy ammo for it. I have been unable to find a single round online or at retail in my area. I hear it's a great gun, wish I could find out.
I shoot a G17 and a Buckmark. I shoot so much better with the Buckmark. I can see I'm going to need to shoot a lot of rounds with the Glock before I get any good with it.
I bought a Bersa 380 back in Mid April. It's been almost 2 months and I can't find a single round. I have 2 orders online that are both back ordered. It's gotten to the point that I regret buying the gun. I could have dug a rock out of the backyard that's just as effective a weapon as that Bersa...
I can't speak for your state but in Virginia in order to be convicted of Brandishing there has to be an intent to harm or scare someone with the firearm when there is no threat of death or serious physical harm to you or another.
Pulling out your weapon in public to show your buddy your new...
For those in places where OC is legal but "not recommended" you need to start organizing some Open Carry events. Get enough people together on a regular basis eventually the cops will stop bothering people and the regular Joe on the street will learn not to freak out when he sees a firearm. If...
Does it bypass the law or does it break the law? Wouldn't something that bypassed the law be a legal loophole?
Correct me if I'm wrong but can't anyone with some knowledge and a machine shop convert just about any semi-auto into an automatic weapon? Does anyone buying legal kits off the...
When I can I Open Carry a Glock 17. I bought the Bersa for it's size and because the 380 round would be a bit easier for the Wife to practice with. I hear the Bersa is a nice gun, It's just very frustrating not being able to shoot it.
Thanks for the warning. I'm glad I didn't buy the 6 box limit. This is the first time I've seen the white box Federal stuff so I thought I would give it a try. I've fired the brown box stuff with my Buckmark with good results.
About the 22 carry debate. If ammo was plentiful I would much...
I'm still able to find .22 ammo around. I bought 2 boxes of Federal bulk from Walmart over the weekend. Short or long term shortage it doesn't really matter. A 22 for self defense with ammo is better than any other caliber if the gun is empty. Right now my Bersa is useless. We can't even argue...
How about we forget the size advantage and talk about the ammo advantage. I bought a Bersa 380 for conceal carry a month ago and all I get out of it "click click click" as I dry fire it. I can't find a single round either online or any place local. I could have put hundreds of rounds through a...
I can't speak for the laws in your state but if you brandish a gun like that on someone in Virginia you go to jail. The drunk guy never threatened you in any way. Having said that, in your shoes I might have done the same.
The Gun portion of the bill also doesn't take effect until 9 Months after Obama signs it. So assuming he signs it within a couple days we can carry in National Parks sometime early next year.
/sarcasm on
Surely you aren't for "Terrorists" having access to guns. Only another "Terrorist" would support such a thing.
/sarcasm off
I think they will have no problem getting plenty of sponsors. The status quo fears the people more than anything else right now. Although the sky isn't...
I always thought a step rule was how many actions you had to take before a weapon would fire.
Example of 2 steps.
1) Remove Safety
2) Pull Trigger
Of course, I could be wrong.
And the level of exception amounts to infringement. Yelling fire in a crowded movie theater or slandering someone is not the same as doing back ground checks on firearm sales. Speech that causes harm to someone does not equal buying a firearm which in and of itself causes no harm to anyone...
