Not exactly a 1911 but close is my PT145. Kind of a polymer short barreled double stacked version. Very active job, no issues. A single stack handle would lay flatter though. You will find pleated loose pants work best, as with any IWB type. Jeans make it invisible, but I usually have on slacks.

Taurus PT145 1911 type safety,(sorta) cocked and locked. Cant beat the fact its got a single action trigger that if it FTF will restrike as a double action. AND it feels great in the hand. 10+1 capacity should do.
