    Need your opinion

It's my first rifle - just wanted to make sure I'm getting a good deal - I know when it comes to weapons - used can be kind of sketchy.

    Need your opinion

Went by a local gun shop and came across this deal. Wanted to know your thoughts on whether or not I should buy this asap and possibly get divorced from the wifey immediately thereafter. It seemed like a smoking deal - here are the details: Browning A-Bolt 7Mag (seriel no. 39151NV8C7)...

    Steyr M-9 (old school version)

I'm just struggling with the sight picture on mine. With the triangle front sight I seem to want to shoot high with it. Or it maybe user error and I'm a horrible shot (that might have something to do with it)

    Remington Model 11 (pre WWII)

I really appreciate everyones feedback on this model (amazing actually) - the guy in actually in pretty good shape outside of the stock of course. I really only think it needs to be broken down and cleaned. I do own a couple of expensive shotguns or what I would call expensive (Benelli) - but...

    Remington Model 11 (pre WWII)

Thanks Dave - I'll check it out of the stocks and if need be I'll have one fabricated. I know the gun really isn't worth much (it's a military issue) but it's a cool gun with some history - definately worth bringing back to life. The thing is heavy as lead though.

    Steyr M-9 (old school version)

Just wanted to get some thoughts on this version - other than the fact it occassionally ejects casings onto my forehead - has been a pretty reliable gun if you can get used to the sight picture.

    Good waterfowl shotgun

Can't argue about the 870 but an option might be a Franchi I-12 - bought one last year - will hold 3 inch shells - intertia driven - for the most part made by Benelli but significanty less expensive.

    Remington Model 11 (pre WWII)

Wondering if I bought the Ram-Line synthetic stock replacement for the Browning A-5 auto - how much customization it would take to make it fit the Remington?? I'm thinking it's got to be a close fit but I've never seen an actual comparison.

    Remington Model 11 (pre WWII)

New to the board - glad to be hear. I have recently inherited a pre WWII Remington Model 11 from my father. The stock on it is completely trashed. I was looking to replace both the stock and front forearm with a synthetic one. I have looked at companies like Ram-Line and they have the...
