Thanks to my awesome coworkers who gave me a Visa giftcard for my birthday and a recently sold Steyr M9 I was able to put a RDB on layaway today, price is $999.99.
I searched but nothing new on the RDB. So, who out there has an RDB and what is your opinion? Give me the good, the bad and the...
#1 Does anywhere know where I can find the serial #? I've looked all over and don't see one. The finish worn, so I can barely see the stamp on the top.
#2 Do the 7 rnd .32 ACP mags from Numrich work well? My original mag is a 10 rndr and seems to have a weak mag spring, making the pistol a...
I just picked up my S&W 39-2 and was wondering if someone could help me date the pistol. Serial # is A227XXX.
Sorry, no pictures, I don't have a camera.
Thanks, Mike.
Does anyone have a source for Hi power magazine floor plates. I have tried the usual suspects (Brownells, Midway, Numrich) and have come up empty.
I am looking to convert a couple P99 mags into P88C mags.
Thanks, Modified.
I just bought a H&R .22 Premier topbreak revolver and I am looking for some help on finding the age. Sorry no pictures.
The revolver has the following:
Nickel plated with black trigger and trigger guard. Dark hammer, possibly color case hardened.
.22 Caliber, topbreak, auto eject.
Top of...
I have long wondered about the Hi Power slide lock. Why is there an extension on the barrel end that projects out over the slide?
Thanks for any information.
So, I just picked up my SIG 220. Its is stamped made in Germany, but has no proofmarks or date code so it was assembled in the US.
My pistol has Hogue grips on it that I am not fond of. I want to get some of the original plastic checkered grips for the pistol. My understanding, though is that...
Does any body know the value of a Husqvarna Model 1907 .380. The pistol is in good condition with engraved grips. I just put it on layaway and the price was $295. Good deal or no?
Thanks, Mike.
The PSP will hold the slide open on an empty magazine, correct? I was looking at one at the local shop that did not do so. Is the pistol broken or do I not know my P7's as well as I thought I did?
Thanks, Mike.
I see that www.centerfiresystems.com has the blued VZ61 marked down to $449.95. While I know it is not really very practical I have always thought that the Skorpion was a cool gun. So, practicality aside I would like to get one if it functions well.
Does anyone here own one and is it worth the...
I just picked up a Hi-power and was trying to get a date of manufacture for it. Serial # is 245NWxxxx. Also, can anyone point in the direction of information on removing the magazine disconnect, the local shop here wouldn't do it for me.
Thanks, Mike.
A local shop has an older FM Hi Power (with the stepped slide) for $448. Gun is in good shape and has adjustable target type sights.
Is this a reasonable price for this pistol?
Thanks, Mike.
A local shop has one of these for sale for $350. Is that a good price for one in good condition? Also, how available are extra mags and parts? This one has only one mag with it.
Thanks, Modified.
After some dryfiring (with a snap cap and mag in place) I dissassembled my FNP-9 and noticed that my trigger pack was cracked on the right side about where the rear slide insert begins.
What a disappointment. The feel and fit and finish of the pistol was excellent with a rather nice trigger in...
I can pick up a 60 SS with the black synthetic stock new for $189. A pawn shop has the 60 SS with the wood grey swirl stock used for the same price.
Which would you buy? I have heard good things about the 60, but would I would be better served buy buying another rifle (10/22 for exampe)...
Here's the deal. I have had a P0-1 for 4 yrs and it has been excellent. No malfs, accurate, and the the trigger has smoothed out nicely.
A local store has a P0-1 marked at $329 which is a great price. The problem is that I don't need another 9mm as I have plenty already, especially in the...
I took out my Steyr M9-A1 that I picked up today and shot 200 rnds, after cleaning it. Here we go.
Reliability: Excellent. No problems at all, pull the trigger gun go boom.
Ergonomics: Good. Comfortable grip, slide release and mag release very easy to reach. I am not used to the sharp grip...
I noticed as I was cleaning my S&W 1911Sc last night that when I picked up my guide my slide stop came along with it. I then tested it on my barrel bushing and the guide rod picked that up as well. Is this done on purpose and if so why?
