Ideally I would love to see a Pelican suit case but they all seem to be designed for other things. My problem is I usually need a suit and some other fancy cloths so I need a place to keep them semi wrinkle free. The other problem is that it appears someone has tried to tear/ pull my gun case...
I currently travel with a pelican case cabled around the tubes of my handle just like JRH6856 describes. However on several occasions I have gotten to baggage claim and found that someone has tried to force the pelican case out of my suitcase, not to mention my suitcase has missed its flight...
I use it with a magazine full of real ammo, no powder dead primer, and I love it. The only bad thing is they do not work well in bright rooms. Overall well worth the cash.
Just my 2 cents.
I travel with a firearm often enough that I would like a durable medium sized (about 16”x30” ?) piece of luggage that has a built in lockable hard sided case permanently fixed to the frame inside. Usually I travel with a Glock 22 and /or 27 with three magazines for each.
Any ideas? If I...
I have to agree with Hellbore. A CCW class is an excellent idea for everyone who has not taken one.
I can tell the same story of being around gun’s my whole life blah blah blah. But I will say that first CCW class I took opened my eyes to my own ignorance.
Do every gun owner a favor and...
Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Any questions?
Tacbandit did you read my whole statement? Ok I should have included the word now in the first sentence somewhere. I think we still have a few months even after he who shall not be named takes office. I know gun banning is on his list just not first!
I like the idea. A million gun owners descend on Washington to protest a new AWB, if / when it comes about.
I would definitely leave the guns at home someone will get stupid and the government would be ready..
I have a Stevens 887 with the same problem; I am going to assume they are very similar guns if not the same. I have disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, oiled, and even talked nice to it with no luck. There was a recall of these in the early 80’s you should see if yours is affected by this. However...
By not revealing the facts it leaves us open to speculation, rumor and here-say. It would seem to me that such a list is an absolute necessity for a fact based discussion about such an important issue.
I will spend some time looking and post anything new I might find.
I say leave them think, for now, the AK is "The most dangerous rifle in the world " it only exposes “there” ignorance to the rest of us, who have bothered to learn about guns, and takes attention from the .50 cal TMS episode going on.
My best wishes and prayers go to those involved in the...
I rely feel bad for the lady and the shooter. It’s a freak and terrible accident and a black eye for all of us who enjoy shooting no matter how responsible and safe we think we are.. (Insert one rotten apple analogy) But the fact is every time you or I pull that trigger you are responsible for...
