Took my new Sig P365 to the range for the first time

put approximately 170 rounds through the gun. Shot a combination of Blazer Brass, Remington Golden Saber, and Federal HST rounds. The gun functioned flawlessly and was very accurate. The recoil on the 365 was a bit stronger than that of my G43, which I also took and shot ~50 rounds. I will...

    G42 range update

Several weeks ago I experienced feeding and ejection problems with my early production G42. I purchased the first G42 my LGS received. I returned the gun to Glock for repairs, but it still would not function correctly. So, Glock replaced the pistol. Today, I finally got to take the new G42...

Received a new G42 from Glock today

Replaces the G42 I purchased shortly after the guns release which would not feed reliably. Glock customer service was great. I will try and get to the range tomorrow to test the functionality of the new pistol. But, I'm confident the gun will work correctly. Will post results of the trip to...

    Superb customer service from Glock

I experienced feeding and ejection issues with my G42 (very early production G42). So, I arranged to have the gun returned for service. Glock replaced the trigger housing and ejector, trigger and trigger bar, slide stop lever and spring and returned the pistol. During my first trip to the...

Put a set of TruGlo TFX on my new G43

the ends of the green rear sight tubes are smaller than those of the TFO's on my other pistols as the end of the tritium/fiber optic tubes are partially encased on the TFX. The rear sights on the TFX are about the same size as those of Trijicon or Meprolight sights. The front sight of the TFX...

Just picked up my new G43

$449 plus tax. Nice gun, will probably be my EDC, once broken-in.

Saw a new G43 at LGS

The gun is almost identical in size to the G42, in height and length, just a bit wider. Nice pistol, came with one flat bottom mag and one with extension for pinkie. No change in capacity on mag with extension. Felt same as G42 in my hand. The one G43 the LGS had was not for sale, but...

Disappointed, received flyer from LGS advertising

The new Walther CCP for sale at $399. So, I drove the 50 miles to the store intent on purchasing one. To my surprise, they did not have the gun in stock, said flyer was printed in anticipation of promised delivery. So, I'm on the waiting list for one. LGS apologized, and say they will be in...

Well, after much research went to my LGS to buy either a

HK P2000SK or a Sig P224. However, after handling both guns, I didn't like the ergonomics of either. So, I began to look around and see what other guns were available. I looked at the HK VP9, P30 LEM, and Walther PPQ M2. Each of thes guns fit my hand well, and are of comparable quality, but...

    Bought a new pistol yesterday

A HK P2000, 9mm, night sights, and LEM trigger. While I own many pistols, this is my first HK. The LEM trigger has very little take up resistance and breaks very crisply. I will take her to the range on Tuesday.

Trying to decide on new gun considering

H&K P2000 SK, H&K VP 9, and Walther PPQ. Leaning toward the P2000 because of overall size (easier to conceal) and LEM trigger system, but both the PV9 and PPQ also have superb triggers. I would appreciate thoughts, comments, experience with these pistols.

Going to sell my S&W E-Series Scandium 1911 and am thinking about replacing with

A Walther PPQ or XDM compact. Can't decide between the two and would appreciate thoughts on the PPQ vs the XDM Compact.

Anyone have experience with Ghost Rocket trigger kit (good or bad)

In a G19. Thinking of installing one in my pistol - supposed to lighten trigger pull to 3.5 lbs, reduce take up and over travel. I would appreciate input.

Traded my Kahr P380 today for a

XDs 4.0 with SS slide in 9mm. Really like the extended mag (9+1) with the XDs, fit my hand really well, and the flush fit makes the gun easy to conceal. So far so good. I will go to the range tomorrow.

Bought a new holster for my Glock 42 today

Holster is a Remora no clip IWB. I will use it for pocket carry. My first pocket holster in many years that isn't a DeSantis Nemisis. The Remora is working fine so far just need to break it in by carrying.

Took my new G42 to the range today, along with my PX4 Storm compact, and Kahr P380

Shot ~100 rounds of Corbon, Hornady, and Precision One Ammo. The Corbon and Hornady ran just fine not a single problem. The gun didn't like the Precision One ammo at first and I had several FTF and FTE. So, I switched to Corbon and Hornady. After shooting approx 50 rounds of the Corbon and...

Saw my first Glock 42 today

LGS didn't have one for sale, but had one on layaway for a customer and let me handle the gun. I must say I am impressed. The gun fit my hand superbly and is smaller than it looks in the on-line pictures I have seen. I liked it so well I told him to reserve the next one he receives for me...

Beretta M9A1 and 92fs compact, question concerning grips

Today I installed Houge rubber grips on my M9A1 and 92fs compact. I left the lock washers off that came with the original factory grips as the grip screws were not flush with the rubber grips when the screws were fully tightened. The grip screws were high enough to be noticeably annoying with...
