I picked up one from Henderson Defense. They "certify" their Golanis. I took it to the range yesterday and it shoots straight and feeds properly. I didn't have any failures until about round 75. Then I got a failure to extract after every round. Oddly, I let the rifle cool down and sighted...
I bought a FUBAR'd one a few weeks ago and sent it back. It's manufacture date was 10/8/2010. SN: GLN043xx The machining on the receiver threads where the barrel attaches was canted. This made the barrel offset. To try to fix that they bent the barrel.
It cycled fine, feed ramp was a...
I bought one for my missus to get her used to handguns. Hers failed to feed correctly a lot....the bullet tip would get jammed right above the barrel. I'd have to tap the round and then it would chamber. I think it just needs breaking in because the slide is really tight.

The only problem I had...
I wish I had more interest in history when I was younger. It didn't interest me. Now that I'm 41, I appreciate it more.

I'm also new and just bought an Superior Arms .223/5.56 AR-15 from my local gun show on Valentine's Day. At the same time, I also bought my wife a Taurus PT-22 .22 caliber semi-auto handgun for her to get the feel for shooting.
I've had a Glock model 17 9mm for almost 23 years now but...
