Opinions on my first video, please

Really enjoyed the video. Very well done! Looking forward to your future submissions... A shotgun comparison, sounds like a good idea. Even if a topic has already been covered elsewhere on youtube, your take on that given subject, will be unique to you & your channel.

    Mossberg 935 Auto

To insure reliable cycling of the lighter 2 3/4" loads, I would suggest a thorough cleaning out of all that factory lube ("mud") along with a liberally applied lube job, - plus running some 3" or 3 1/2" shells the first time out. The 935 is a nice, reliable shotgun. Congrat's!

    Just picked up a Kel-Tec Sub2000

There's a lot of mixed reviews (mostly negative) regarding the 29rd. Scherer .40 mag... Mine has always been reliable, though. Also, the Korean company Victory, makes a 31rd. .40 S&W Glock-type magazine. I just recently ordered one, and will let you know if I have any problems.

Pakistani 9mm ammo from sportsmans guide / dont buy it

Thanks for the warning goldie. Unfortunately, it came too late for me! :o I done got some of this berdan primed ammo... The price was right, (w/ free shipping), and I took the bait! I haven't tried them out yet, but the container and the rounds are both filthy to the touch. Dirt, sand...

    Motor Oil for Lube

So sorry about that...:o Here's one UOA from Bitog user Curtis Newton, using Tufoil in his Lexus. (The results are in the column dated 12/15/07) Here's Bitog user deven's UOA w/Tufoil in his Lexus too! :D Here's another UOA from deven, using 4oz. of Tufoil.

    Motor Oil for Lube

Unfortunately, I haven't seen a VOA of Tufoil. It would be interesting to know how many ppm's of moly it has. I have seen a few UOA's done, with the Tufoil added to the sump. The moly result is higher than what would normally be in the oil, but you can't really extrapolate from that, the...

    Motor Oil for Lube

You can safely add Teflon (PTFE) or moly to your base oil. There's a product called Tufoil, that contains both of those additives. ZDDP is an important additive, especially when using moly. Having enough ZDDP, will slow the degradation and increase the anti-friction capabilities, of the...

    Motor Oil for Lube

No argument from me... I'm certain that the molasses like thickness of this PAO base additive is due to the presence of VII's.

    Motor Oil for Lube

One of the reasons I would choose a synthetic motor oil (PAO/Grp. IV) over the ATF, is because there are more anti-corrosion, anti-wear, & antioxidant properties found in the motor oil. For my gun lube, I use a very thick PAO based motor oil additive. Unfortunately, it is no longer marketed...

    Motor Oil for Lube

I would definitely choose a synthetic motor oil over tranny fluid. If you're not willing to mix up your own, Royal Purple's XPR line of racing oils or Red Line's synthetic oil (racing or regular), are a good choice of something that's readily available. Both of those oil brands contain a fair...

    Motor Oil for Lube

If anyone is really curious as to what is in their favorite gun oil, I would suggest having an oil analysis done... It will give you more info than what is listed in the MSDS, and also some insight into what makes up the "proprietary ingredients." You'll need a few ounces to submit, and it...

Would you be concerned about selling to someone like this??

He may just have that sheepdog mentality, and wants to do his best to be in a position to protect his family. His multiple recent purchases, could be because he is a latecomer to preparedness, and is now hurriedly doing what he can to catch up. That said, I would still defer to what jnyork...
