Wow what a dumb a$$ I am.
I never even thought about Kahr.... I immediatley went to all the holster www sites and found nothing.
Thanks... I bought one today
I would like to find a small leather magazine carrier for my belt that will hold the magazines for the Kahr PM-9.
I have a drawer full of carriers for 1911s, Glocks etc...... but none of the www sites I checked list mag carriers for the smaller carry guns. I hate the idea of carrying an...
My neighbor has one and hasn't been able to find ammo (off and on) ever since he bought the gun. The only advantage is that in many guns they hold one more round than a .45 ACP...... and some GAP guns have a slightly smaller grip size.
Balistically they are and equal to the ACP.
I sure...
When Michigan standardized the laws for concealed carry... there was a pretty LARGE number of LEOs, and corrections officers... who while still "on the job" couldn't qualify for a CPL... too many had serious misdemeanors in their history or had a PPO on them.
Before we became a "shall issue"...
I use Titegroup (as do many other competitive shooters) and it's a great powder designed just for pistol loads.
They have load data for 9 mm, 38 spl, 40, 45 ACP and others right on the container.
It is priced right and it meters great.
The three most popular in IDPA/USPSA that would still make a decent carry gun are
Springfield XP
Glock 17 (the 34 rules in competition but has a longer barrel than the 17 for CCW)
Smith and Wesson M & P
CZs and Sigs too but much less popular.
I carry a Kahr PM-9 in a Galco pocket "holster" lots of the time. It will fit in jeans... but is really at home in a pair of Dockers. I like the DAO action of the Kahr and mine has proven to be 100% reliable after a 300 round break in period.
The Kahr is a very popular BUG with many law...
With all respect to some of the other posters.... any car polish that has ammonia in it will eventually ruin the cases.
Both Dillon and a great german company named Flitz make polishes SPECIFICALLY for adding to polishing media. I like the Flitz best but they both work fine.
I took an eight point that weighed 200 pounds field dressed..... with a Glock 21 loaded with Federal JHP Hydra-shock .45 ACPs. I shot him out of a tree stand at under 50 feet. The bullet went through one lung and the heart. The deer ran about 80 feet before dropping in his tracks.
IMO pistol...
I have reloaded and shot MANT MANY thousands of Zero bullets. (all .45 ACP FMJs)
I love them and the are VERY popular with the competition shooters.
I'd guess that Zeros and Montana Gold are the top two FMJs reloaded by USPSA/IDPA shooters.
