I've been reloading 168 grain ballistic tips for my 300 Wby. The Nosler manual (6) shows an overall cartridge length of 3.560". I'm going to be switching to 180 grain Accubonds which are longer in length than the 168 grain ballistic tips. Do I need to adjust my die so it will seat the 180 grains...
The 25 wssm is a great concept and a good cartridge however, it can't compete with the 257 weatherby and the 25'06 there fore it is pretty much obsolete.

I would save up 300.00 more and get a carl zeiss you wont regret it and the glass is awesome. If you get the z reticle (600 or 800) you won't ever need another scope and it will do everything. I don't like bushnell the elite is clear glass but my went bad on me hunting black tails got moisture...

I found a great load with IMR 7828 powder. The load data calls for Barnes 168 grain bullets. I have nosler 168 grain bullets. would it be safe to use the nosler bullets?
I went sheep hunting last year in oregon. Shot mine at 320 yards with a .270 130 gr ballistic tip. And it did the job. Sheep hunting is generally done in very steep terrain. My advice is use a flat shooting cal. That is going to put the animal down immediately. The last thing you want is the...
