Different brass will fill in different ways and to different levels.PPU and some other brands are thicker and will fill up faster than others.Varget is a great 223 powder, but there are loads listed in different manuals that go as high as 27 grains, and I haven't found any brass that will hold that much.I have a 223 set up for target/match shooting and I've found that it doesn't like heavily compressed loads. If you are shooting long bullets, you'll hear some pretty heavy crunching when you go much over 24 grains.
