Just in case no one has noticed, Graf's and Midway has 243 WSSM Brass in stock. I didn't really need em but I ordered me a box of 50 just because they are so difficult to find.
My brother thanks you for his Christmas gift! He's needed new 243 wssm brass for a long time and 100 pieces will show up on his doorstep within the next week or so........He can now shoot his very accurate Winchester Coyote unencumbered by brass availability for the foreseeable future.
Back in the day...many enchiladas ago, a big box store had a bunch of Browning A-bolt Synthetic Stalker rifles in 25WSSM with that super short action. With dura touch, palm swell, and medium heavy 24" barrel. A sweeter feeling rifle these hands have not held. And I heard they shot very very well.
I knew about Hornady bringing out .223 WSSM and.243 WSSM, but was a bit surprised to see New bags of Winchester brass in both chamberings on the shelf at Sportsman's Warehouse yesterday. I wonder if Hornady is making brass under the Winchester head stamp as well as their own in these chamberings, or if there is some kind of increasing market I don't see that is driving two different companies to spin up production.
