From Midsouth Shooters Supply on the 250gr Hornady A-Tip:
“These Doppler Radar verified low-drag coefficient (high B.C.) bullets are forgiving of twist rates, seating depths, and muzzle velocity enhanced with a perfect blend of ogive, tip length, bearing surface, and optimized boattail by caliber!”
Really impressive numbers. These average velocity was 2778 in the 300 win mag, though I do not know their data, or if they have an extra long throat cut to run these way out. If 2700fps could be achieved in a standard reamed 300 win mag, it would give even the big 338’s a run for their money.
