.308 Reloaded w/ 165gr Rem CorLokt

Does anyone have a recipe for this? I'm having a hard time finding anything on Remington bullets. I'm using Winchester 748 powder. Any recommendations on a good charge weight?

The current Speer #14 Manual shows the following load data for the 165 gr bullet with WW748 powder:

Starting load: 42.0 gr*
Maximum load: 46.0 gr*
*magnum primer used with this load.

748 is kinda fast for 165gr bullets. Not saying it won't work, but IMO you'd have better results using a powder in the speed range of RL-15 or 4064.

I'm brand new to reloading. Thanks for the input. I'm finding out that there's alot more to this than I expected. Bullet weight and type, powders, primers. Everything is so precise, not much room for error or guesswork.
