I understand that accuracy might be greater with .357 than .38 from a .357 revolver, but explain this-

(WWB value pack .38spl vs Winclean 125gr .357) I am getting the same size groups with both .38 and .357, but I am shooting the .38 significantly LEFT. Of course there are things a shooter can do wrong to shoot left, but if that's the case, why am I not doing these things with the .357's? And of course I do not want to adjust the sights- even though I shoot mostly .38spl, adjusting them to center would move my .357 groups off.

Different loads can shoot to a different POI. That's just something you have to live with. You don't have to move your sights once you have it set for one load, but you will have to use some Kentucky windage.
Don't expect every load to group right on top of the one before it.
