Where they tell me to go
In the new Shooting Times there is a picture of several different rounds that were being compared to the new FN pistol/rifle round.

One of them was a 7.62x25 Sabot. Does anyone load this round or is it strictly a reloading deal? Source for ammo or the reloading data? Anyone actually seen them?

Would be a neat option if it's out there!

Was interesting to see that the old CZ-52 round out penetrated the new FN round (I'm sure the military version would smoke it, but you can't buy those).

Thanks for any info,

I read that article, too.

It was very interesting that the Chinese 7.62x25 had better penetration than the 5.7mm ammunition that is available to civilians.

As far as I know it is a reloading proposition. Nothing complicated except that you have to depend on others for start charges and such. At CZ Forums reloading section, go back a page or two and you'll find some data. Remington .308 Sabot is what you need and the 55 grain (.223 bullet) accelerator will give very similar performance to the 5.7mm.
