I have a Ruger mk2 all weather 270 that is my deer rifle I use a scope on it but I would also like to have sights on it for backup and hunting in brush. It has detachable scope rings. I am wanting some low profile fixed sights on it. Any suggestions and also what would a gun smith charge, and also the front of the barrel seems kinda thin would this be a problem?
