I guess the real proof would be whether the US made 7.62 X 39 would be any more accurate than the Russian and commie bloc ammo. And from what I hear it is more accurate.

That's not been my experience.

Is domestic x39 more accurate the Wolf...YES. But wolf is the waffle house of steel cased ammunition. (excluding their excellent 154grn load)

Is domestic x29 more accurate than any of the other brands of steel cased fodder particularly those loaded in the Barnual plant....NO. I would say accuracy is pretty much equal

There is much better steel cased ammo out there than Wolf

The problem with domestic x39 ammo is just like anything else domestically loaded with a metric name it's.

A
overpriced as all hell

B and laughably underloaded,

see the sig ling on the ammo test

I can't say as I don't own an original commie bloc one to compare it to. But my Century Yugo underfolder has an American made Green Mtn barrel on it and it is surprisingly accurate. My accuracy also improved when I added the quad-rail aluminum fore end. The top and bottom screw together to form a solid union that greatly reduces barrel wobble and harmonics during cycling.
