I have to give a shout out on this great little exhibit my bro in Juneau put together. There's a bunch of interesting iron here from WWII and the gold mining era, plus some truly unique native weapons. I haven't been down to take a look at it yet but if anyone is in Juneau over the summer be sure to stop by the State Museum. It's only a few blocks from the main tourist strip by the cruise ships. Tell the curator of collections his brother sent you.

Historic Firearms from Alaska
March 7 - October 11, 2008

Historic firearms and related materials from the Alaska State Museum, the Sheldon Jackson Museum and several private collections, focusing on the many roles of firearms in the history of Alaska ... from subsistence, to trade, to the sportsman and defense.

PG-13: because of "Bridget's Wearable Art" on the page. Which made me giggle like a schoolkid.

Cosmoline, awesome! Too bad it won't tour down here. Or I won't tour up there. I'd love to see it. Congratulations to your brother!

I saw the tremendous display about Alaska's history at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks 2 years ago.
You Alaskan's have much to be proud of(even though it was -35 that night in March).
Congratulations to your brother on his display.
