I am very glad to see The Firing Line rise again.
TFL was the first forum I read regularly. I was sorry to see it stop byt at least there was The High Road to take it place.

I see a lot of our members with "A Proud TFL Alumnus" or words to that affect in their signature lines.
I agree that they had a reason to be proud. TFL was the foundation for THR. We exist only because of them.
Now that TFL is back I am wondering why is seems that no one has changed their Signatures to something on the order of "A Proud TFL Member"?

Webster defines Alumnus as; one who is a former member, employee, contributor, or inmate

Newcomers to THR might see all of the "TFL Alumnus" sigs and not realize that it is back or that it even existed.
I consider everyone over at TFL as family and hope they feel the same way about is.
I hope I never have to be referred to as an "Alumnus" f either board until after I have gone shooting with the Angels.

As proud family members we should all encourage and support each other.

At least that's what I think.

After I checked back into TFL, I removed the "TFL ALumnus" line from my THR sig. Figured I was no longer an alumnus, but instead back in the fraternity.

I'll try to think of something to let readers of both forums know that I belong to each.
