Yes, another thread about MIM parts. I know that good MIM parts are better than bad forged parts but I got to thinking. Do any of the top shooters in IPSC, IPDA or any other handgun shooting sport use MIM parts in their revolvers or pistols?

I think it would be good to know one way or the other.

Those that are shooting M&Ps, Glocks, and other plastic fantastic guns generally are.
 
I have a Springfield Loaded that is doing fine on its stock MIM hammer and sear as adjusted to 3.5 lbs, even though there have been a lot of other changes made.

And as said, there are a lot of non 1911s where parts are MIM and no aftermarket alternatives.
 
As I've posted before, the CDP (.45 1911 class) Division Champion at IDPA's 2008 Nationals used a .45 M&P. Lots of MIM parts there.
