Anybody on here ever hear of the 'CVA Hunterbolt'? Inline and standard bolt action and uses 209's. Cannot find it on CVA website or CVA blogs. Can one of you please go to the trouble of providng me a link to it if you could? I know the rifle was made because I'vd got one laying on my couch right now under permission and request to shoot it, see what I think, and how much I would give for it. Look's like a good rifle. Haven't fired it yet. Thank ya'll very much. Really appreciate any help you could give me....PS.. .45 caliber. She said it came with a .50 caliber barrel also that has never been mounted or used. Her husband had bought the package from Gander Mountain about 5 or 6 years ago, set up to fire the .45's. (Maybe that will help ya'll)....

OWwweee! If the weather is fitting I'll shoot it tomorrow. That's it alright. No question. I was worried it might be some sort of 'outlaw renegade' that had been pieced together. Might buy it from her. She drove all the way from town to see me about it. She might be trying to get a little Christmas together. Well, I could use a little Christmas myself and a good .45 inline might just fill the ticket for both of us. I'll tell her to just keep the .50 barrel and use it to knock somebody in the head if they try and break into her home or whatnot...Thank ya'll BHP and WOLF. Thank ya'll a lot. I am sure getting to where I depend on this site...PS, Still haven't shot my .45 Remington. It's still loaded and leaned up over there in the corner..Thank's again..This one is blued steel....

She is a nice lady and she told the truth to. She said her husband wanted it and so they got it for him but that he was alway's working and never had time to mess with it. I just ran a patch (came out pretty clean) and then sent my little light/camera down the barrel. He sure never fired it much that's for sure. I took the bolt apart and looked at it good. Nothing wrong with this damn rifle. Like a new one. She's coming over tomorrow evening with the rest of the paperwork on it from Gander Mountain. I'm going to buy it. I'll go over with her on the sales receipt on how much they paid for it and then ask her to take $20.00 off of the price they paid for it. Hell, the rifle is like brand new. I don't need it but if I can help her out and still save a twenty dollar bill on the deal I'll go for it. Hell, it's Christmas and I'vd got my ass stuck up here on the high plains instead of being in warm, sunny Alabama like a man that had good sense. Yeah, I like this rifle. I'm glad it's blued steel....

I just e-mailed her and got an answer back. The .50 barrel is blued steel to and she's bringing it over tomorrow to "get it out of the house",,,,

Wolf, thank you for your help.. I just ran the number on the rifle. It's clean and good to go. Then I ran her to (just her name) and just got it back a couple of moments ago and she's clean and good to go to....PS, By God I'll be in a dry spell for awhile to. Can't afford to spend any more money. (hell, ain't got anymore to spend!) I'm still trying to get some leather from Bigbadgun!!....

BHPFAN, thank you for your help sir. Yeah, I'll put it up here and keep it. Hell, I might hunt a little with it. It feel's good in my hands and when I bring it up to my shoulder. (That part about me hunting with it is most probably an unintentional lie! I know I'd be reaching for the Traditions!) Damned if I ain't getting .45's all over this 5th wheel. I couldn't figure out who the hell that was that could be knocking on my door way out here this time of day. If it's someone I know they knock but they call my name to. I opened the door with a '58 in my hand and there she was. Just standing there looking as pretty as a little June bug. Driving a big fine Lincoln Navigator to....
