I had a chance to bid on an Element on GB and actually won. I was needing a 12 ga Semi-auto and when I saw the wood on this gun I had to bid. It is a 28" barrel with vented rib, screw-in chokes and will take 3" shells. I believe that it is a Benelli clone made in Turkey. Does anyone have any experience with Weatherby's Element?

I have the Element "Deluxe" in 20 ga. and it's become my go-to gun for clay shooting (when I use 20 ga.) For an inexpensive gun, the fit and finish are superb, and it shoots like a dream. It took me a few boxes of "hotter" loads to break it in, as it tended to hang up a bit with standard loads. However, now that's been done it feeds 1200 loads with no problem. Being a Benelli guy at heart, I also appreciate the ease of take-down and cleaning, not that there's much to clean. So, I can only relate my personal experience, so YMMV. Good luck.....
