I'm in the USA and maybe that is why they cannot or will not respond but I thought THR has countless more-knowledgeable-than-me members so I will ask.
Concerning this tool-making company in St Petersberg: https://petrograd-tools.com/
I was looking for some hand checkering tools. (I've never checkered but intend to make some Cocobolo grips for my CZ 97B which I just acquired but whose factory grips aren't anywhere as fine as those on my other CZ pistols)
I found them through a online search because, my normal places for stuff (Midway and Brownell's) seemed to not have any Dem-Bart tools anymore. In fact, it looks like Dem-Bart is gone.
I thought they have a great philosophy regarding tool-making and tool using and the prices seemed very reasonable, so even though I bought a starter kit through Amazon, I tried to order this kit from them:
https://petrograd-tools.com/id/nabo...ekeringa-n3-90-18liniy-10-predmetov-18983.html
Though they have an almost complete English version of their web site, I tried 3 times and failed 3 times to register an account so I could buy using PayPal.
Subsequently I sent 3 different emails to their email address posted for online orders. My first mail was Feb 12 and I still haven't heard back.
Now, I only speak and write English so my email was in English so maybe I should have translated my message to Russian.
To me, this doesn't look like one of those scam sites but I'm not really very knowledgeable about such things.
If anyone has some useful advice or experience, to share, I would be very grateful.
