I got to shoot a De Lisle carbine (reproduction) a few weeks ago and it was incredible. Probably the quietist suppressed firearms I've ever encountered (confirmed with dB meter). It's integrally suppressed, chambered for .45 ACP and feels really well balanced. I'd love to own one!

That certainly looks interesting, how many dB's did you measure it at?

Average of five shots was 129.1 dB (LD-800B) and 128.1 (LD LxT1) without any ablative. That's pretty darn good for a dry system. Noise is very subjective and most of the weapons shot that day were semi auto so the lack of bolt/slide movement (and accompanying sound) after the shot may have added to the impression of it being incredibly quiet.

Where/how did you get to shoot one? I've had the purple horny lust for a DeLisle ever since I first heard of them.
