AR-15 build

Im looking at getting a Superior Arms lower and am wondering what you guys have heard about them. For $80 is it worth it. This would be my first AR build and im not sure what brand of lowers are decent.

I'd get the Doublestar for $20 bucks more. I haven't heard of Superior but Doublestar is reputable.

Before you get going on your build, you should check out ar15.com. There is a wealth of information on building your own as well as information about various lowers. Their equipment exchange section also has some amazing deals on parts.

Superior Arms lowers are very nice. I have built/fired several AR's using them. They all went together well and functioned 100%. A good deal for the money.

I've heard mixed reviews... which scares me since most lowers out there rarely have issues, even from the middle of the road manufacturers.

I know a fella who swears by them though.
