AR 6.8 upper for Bushy lower

I have a Bushmaster 5.56 AR. I have been thinking about getting a M4 stye upper and stock for it. Also thought about the new 6.8 uppers.

Do you need to change anything on the 5.56 lowers for the bigger 6.8 upper?

Also how do DPMS uppers fit bushmaster lowers? I am thinking about DPMS or Bushmasters uppers?

No changes needed

Any upper that is in spec will fit your lower just fine

I've seen some folks on the internet suggest the Buffer Tech hydraulic or pneumatic recoil buffer or whatever, but my RRA lower has done fine with a 6.8mm upper attached with the standard buffer assembly.

I don't think you'll have any problems putting a DPMS upper on a Bushmaster lower.
