AR15 question, please

I just purchased a Colt sp1 upper, bolt, and bolt carrier. I need a lower. I understand this is a large pin model. Which lower do I need for this?

A Colt large pin lower. However, I heard that Brownells sells adapters that let you mate a large pin upper to a small pin lower. In that case, you could use any lower. Give them a call & they may be able to help. 800-741-0015
 
Mantis gives good advice... there is such an adapter, allowing for use on any lower. Check this out.

No endorsement, and usual disclaimers, no affiliation, and I'm not saying thats a good or fair price... but I figure knowing what it is and what it looks like and what its called will help ya shop around ;)
 
Thanks! Just bought the pin. FWIW, I asked the same question at AR15.com, responses were not forthcoming. You guys are great here. Thanks again. Now, I just need a lower.

w/ ACE entry stock, Ergo grip, and (real nice) trigger job.
Clinton Carrico was TOPS to deal with.
Price is impossible to beat, quality impressed myself and my dealer.

Couple days later, said dealer recieved a DPMS complete lower for someone else, and I got to look it over. I'm really glad I went the way I did. ;)
